Vintage 4th of July Wafer Paper Cookies

You Will Need:

-Favorite sugar cookie recipe or store bought
-Favorite Royal Icing Recipe or store bought
-Circle Cookie Cutters (Item #CCS-410)
-Red Food Coloring (Item #KB-AMFC2)
-Vintage Fourth of July Wafer Paper (Item #KB-FOJWP)
-Red White and Blue Sugar Crystals (Item #71-5043)

Directions

1. Prepare your favorite sugar cookie recipe or use store bought.

2. Cut dough into circles, bake and let cool(use a circle cookie cutter that is about the same size as the wafer paper).

3. Spread Royal Icing on the top of the cut out cookies.

4. Lay the Vintage wafer paper on top of the royal icing, or you can also use corn syrup to attach wafer paper.

5. Pipe red royal icing along the edge of the wafer paper.

6. Dust the icing with the red white and blue sugar crystals.
